Conroy was my very first coach and my school coach, and he’s been with me from the very beginning of my basketball journey. When I first started playing, I was still learning the game, but he saw potential in me and believed in me before anyone else did.

He built my foundation the right way, focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and teaching me how to truly understand the game. But more than basketball, Conroy taught me discipline, consistency, accountability, and work ethic lessons I use in life every day.

As long as I showed up ready to work and give 100%, he did the same. He never gave up on me, even during tough moments, and constantly pushed me to be better when things got uncomfortable.

Because of the foundation he helped me build, I’m now playing at the youth professional level at 18 years old at Stella Azzurra Basketball Academy, and I still train with him today. I honestly wouldn’t be where I am without his guidance, belief, and commitment to my growth.

Conroy didn’t just help shape my game, he helped shape me as a person and as a player. I’ll always be grateful for everything he’s done for me and the role he continues to play in my journey.
